One of this year's most creative and original short films, funny and touching - Rebekah Louisa Smith, Film Festival Doctor (In Short FF Judge)

Abstract and surreal at first glance, Love & Other Chairs has a soul and a unique personality; it's different, fresh and lovingly philosophical, while striking a balance between the surrealism of it's story and the truth of it's theme - Angeliki Coconi, Unsung Films

Definitely vying for the award for 'weirdest comedy', Christopher Bevan's film follows the horrors a young man faces when he suddenly begins to turn every prospective girlfriend into a household chair. Surreal in its narrative and wickedly funny, this is an oddly rather intelligent and well-sold absurdist tale - Ben Robins, The Edge SUSU

Handling soft comedy without making the film completely outrageous, the film enthuses another level of normality that otherwise would be lost in the quirk. Love & Other Chairs is a greatly astute and aware of the semantics of a surreal short. - Cookies 'n' Screen, Screen Relish
